Three – The Power of Agency

What does it really mean to have agency? When we premiered Three at the end of last year, we knew we were sharing a deeply human story, of connection, memory, independence, and those quiet moments that define us.
In a brilliant article for SCENE Magazine, Molly reflects on the show’s creative journey and the personal questions it sparked around control, creativity and care. From long development gaps to working with both puppets and masks for the first time, Three has been a show shaped just as much by real life as by rehearsal.
“Sometimes the most complex subjects are best explored through raw, human emotion.”

3 masked actors representing varied elderly demographics across the UK are gathered around a bench, holding cups in their hands. A cat puppet is sat on the bench looking up towards them. They all look warmly towards the camera. In the background is a blue sky with clouds.

“Beautifully heartfelt, uplifting, joyful and moving”

Our Three premieres are well under way and we are loving hearing what our audiences think! Have a read of what people are saying below.
